Asuna Yuuki, the swordswoman of the Knights of Blood and Kirito's in-game wife.

Connection: Both have melee weapons (rod and rapier), can date with the main character, and getting kidnapped by the hands of the villain in the second half (Sephiroth and Sugou).

Difference: Aerith dies but her presence is felt like how Tifa saying that she knew she (Aerith) is watching and thanked her, while Asuna lives to have blue hair.
