In terms of mercy, LUCY, it turns out has been more merciful, with her final moments alive keeping the boy she loved alive after he was fatally shot, plus she has support from alot of people who at once feared her, plus ironically, she felt compassion for 1 of her opponents, whereas chise, oh dear, shows us where mori, the creator of blaze blue, may have gotten the inspiration for mu-12, a cyborg girl who wants to kill everyone, it gets worse, unfortunately the creator of saikano may have been inspired by what happened to terra branford, a half esper girl, who was used as a person of mass destruction with her use of fire magic that is extremely powerful, power wise, chise is capable of exterminating nearly everyone on the goddamn planet, like what happened in narunasu, but with more military hardware, which chise has the 2ND version of (turns out there is A FUCKING PREQUEL OF THIS MANGA), now lets talk about mercy from chise, umm, none except for boyfriend, who is just as emotionally damaged as chise, she basically destroys the village under HER OWN PROTECTION because she felt that they wanted it that way, in either case, a more emotionally stable lucy would try to protect her adopted family from the more emotionally damaged death machine known as chise
